as an eldoth Bláthnaid is very sensitive to spirits and is a natural at dealing with them and even banishing them. Where she goes spirits tend not to follow.

Personal history
Bláthnaid was the daughter of some Irish Imigrants who fled their country to escape the persecution of the English. Her family having established themselves in the city of Newport.
During the war her family was attacked by British soldiers and she ended up turning into a wolf giving her the ability to save her family. Though they feared her and kicked her out of their home.
For a time she ended up roaming the country until she found the Storm Lords. Here she would meet her friends Matt, and Richard. She fell hard for Matt and when he planned on taking out the alpha she immediately helped him along.
Their plan however failed and her eye. She was taken to be a part of the alpha's harem and she was even branded as his property. She hated her captivity and plotted ways to be free even making some attempts with each of these attempts being foiled by the Alpha.
Matt got stronger and challenged the Alpha beating him and taking his place as leader of the Storm Lords and rescuing Bláthnaid. He however was different blaming Ricahard for their initial failure. Bláthnaid grew to blame Richard as well and thus swore vengeance on him.
she would work with William to try to thwart the group but after he defeat during the battle for boston she switched sides and helped the others. She participated in the new camerila and even worked at the academy. She claimed she hated every minute of it but, she was often seen having the time of her life with students until her death.
