Original Tiefling

Most people know what tieflings are, and many can tell you where they came from, but very few have actually met an original tiefling. These are the people who make deals with demons and consequentially lose their humanity.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Originally members of other humanoid species, each individual keeps many features that they had before their transformation. That said, they also tend to show features unnatural to their original species, such as horns or a tail. Each original tiefling's curse manifests differently, so it is difficult to identify them by morphology alone.

Genetics and Reproduction

Any time an original tiefling reproduces, its offspring will be a regular tiefling. They reproduce the same way they would if they were not a tiefling unless their transformation somehow affected their reproductive organs, which is rare but possible.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Individuals maintain the sensory capabilities they had before they became a tiefling. Some may manifest other extrasensory capabilities such as blindsight or darkvision, but there is no universal experience.
