Art & Architecture
Portuzian Art is quite unimportant but Portuzian architecture was the most important architectural style in the world from 1400 to 1700. The Portuzian architecture is renowed for its extravagantism and vitality, a nice example is the Dugusto Cathedral, a 221 meter long and 118 meter tall building built in 1430. It was the biggest religious building in the world until the construction of the Aldu Mosque in Daguo in 1532. Their architecture is characterised by the usage of decorative arches and high, pointed towers and a lot of statues.
Coming of Age Rites
Until the 1760s it was a common practise for boys to choose a future wife (an also 14 year old girl) when they became 14.
In 1752 the Archbishop of Portuzia declared this against the laws of god and ordered a new ritual:
at the 14th of May every community is obligated to hold a feast with all the 14 year olds of the area.
This is still a common practise today.
Funerary and Memorial customs
When someone dies his family will invite everyone this person knew and have a festival called "Festival of the Dead One".
This festival revolves around going to church and singing songs in honour for the dead and eating a lot of cake.
