They’ve been neighbors since Sky was 4 and Jeff was 6, but it wasn’t until Sky was in 2nd Grade and Jeff in 3rd Grade that that the friendship really started clicking. Some local boys were teasing Sky about her hair (pigtails and color), and Jeff stepped in to defend her. However, the boys then turned their attention to Jeff, one of them bringing up his family life, which caused Sky to get mad and come to his defense. She slapped the offender, and the two tormentors took off in shock after realizing these two new friends were not backing down. Fast forward to the “The Kickball Incident” . During the fall of Sky’s freshman year in high school and Jeff’s sophomore year. During a kickball game, Sky booted a monster homerun that put their team ahead, and Jeff in his enthusiasm put a little too much into his congratulatory butt-slap when she got back to the dugout and caused her to yelp loudly, which outwardly embarrassed them both. But secretly, Jeff and Sky both had reactions of a sexual nature, yet both felt the friendship was too important to risk.
