People of Wiltin (Wiltners)
The people of Wiltin have a history of industrial and capitalist progress, as well as a varied religious topography. Two primary religions exist - the Old Faith and Ressurectionism. Many smaller communities determine their own forms of worship, and draw teachings from each other religion. Often the people of Wiltin consider religion a back drop in their life, rather than a focal point, and the churches are valued for their charitable offerings, rather than their religious teachings. Skin color of those native to Wiltin is most often black or dark brown, but post-shattering, many ethnicities call Wiltin home. Hair is typically curlier, dark and kept at a medium length or tied back when longer. Facial hair is not in fashion for men, but not uncommon. Eyes are darkly colored with rare exceptions - hazel or dark blue.
The people of Wiltin have several smaller sub-communities representing peoples from remote regions on Wiltin. The Red-Landers are a sub faction with darker skin and a thicker accent with longer vowels, and who speak more slowly, but have mostly similar traditions and cultural norms. The Southern Sea-Folk are another sub-community with skin similarly dark, like the Red Landers, but with a brisk and clipped accent, and a particular sea-faring culture which overlaps their Wiltin cultural norms.
