Gemtech

Lord Baryon had stated that Gemtech has always existed for as long as the Void existed, and he is not wrong. Gemtech is literal concentrated power that formed as remnants before time and space itself manifested after the Big Bang. It is said these concentrated pieces of power, while existing in the Void and normal time and space as gems, coalesced into pieces of power that then scattered through the Void and even dropped into the dimensions. Some people call these pieces of gemtech 'Power Crystals' or 'Energy Crystals,' or perhaps, familiarly... 'Chaos Emeralds.'
Those able to manipulate the energy of these crystals are able to tap into great power. They can use it to power machines, or even power themselves up by altering the entire state of their body or whatever item they are using. However, Gemtech ultimately can be used up, despite having the ability to be recharged as long as they are in the Void or near a rip in spacetime. The larger the piece, the more powerful they are, and the color depends on what you can focus on:
Red: Primarily used in conjuring and magic, and associated with the element of fire, lightning, or plasma state. Blue: Primarily defensive and associated with ice, water, or the liquid state. Green: Focus on physical offense, and associated with nature, earth, or the solid state. Yellow: Calling card of altering the state of an individual (buffs, debuffs, and even ability copying), and associated with wind, or the gas state. Pink: Rare pieces of gemtech that are associated with the bose-einstein state. Magnetics, Gravity, summoning, and the spirits are associated with this one. Purple: The rarest of all Gemtech, used in associate with extremely high states of matter. This is where world conquering, dimension ripping power comes from. This is associated with Void Magic, Neutron Manipulation, Time Travel, Black Hole generation, Dark Matter manipulation, and other extremely powerful magic.
