The Everlasting Woods

The Everlasting Woods is one of the most dangerous places to be in the galaxy. Everything in this forest defies change. If one were to make a mark on the trunk of a tree with a knife, it would fade to absolutely nothing within 30 seconds. If someone would cut down a tree, it would fall, then put itself upright right after. The only way something could be built there would be to blanket the area in magic and cover the building with magic as well. Everything looks the same, so many people get lost and go mad and/or die in there. In fact, the people of the villages that live near there have put a person there for every second of every day of every week to make sure that no people go in.

Geography

A large expanse of trees. There is no water in there, at least not on top of the ground. There are pockets of water under the water if you know where to look for them.

Fauna & Flora

No animals live here. There's no food in the woods, and no water for them to drink. The trees are large maple trees. Their leaves are shades of red, orange and yellow. The leaves are constantly falling down, stay on the ground for a bit, and disappear. The leaves appear back on the tree and the cycle repeats. The bark of the trees is pale blonde and very smooth, almost as if the tree has been stripped of its bark.
