The Abydos Federation

A scientific federation dedicated to studying space, whether it be astrobiology, space travel, or nuclear physics. The federation is here to expand humankind's knowledge and enrich people's lives with it. One of it's many projects is discovering what happened in the milky way that made humankind abandon it.

Structure

It has a leader, who decides the major projects and appeals to the board of investors, they are helped with budgeting by the treasurer. Then there are the leaders of each branch. The leaders of each branch decide who works on what project (with help of course) and budgets for that branch. Then leaders are appointed to each project who report back to the leader. The school is a little different, with a board of directors and other management needed to run a school. The school itself is part of the education sector.

Public Agenda

To spread knowledge and educate the public. To widen humanity's understanding of the world it lives in. They also have a vested interest in keeping and gaining investors so they can continue to have money. These two agendas end up clashing in most cases.

Assets

they have The Kathrine Johnson Space station. and train people in the station, not necessarily to become employees, but alumni of the space station are more likely to get hired than those who are not.
