Empress Mora Teresh

A warrior queen of the ancient Annunaki, Mora led her armies to battle against the Kraagans, and drove them out of the 60 worlds of the Annunaki Alliance. When that was accomplished, Mora reached out to the other races in the region, encouraging them to join her alliance and help in forcing the Kraagans all the way back to the Ramoxian Alliance.
She succeeded in bringing well over two hundred planets into her alliance, drafting a treaty that outlined her goals for an "Empire of a Thousand Worlds". Later iterations dropped the "Empire" bit from the title, though many would say it never disappeared from the structure of the alliance. The Annunaki have been the primary power in the Thousand Worlds since the treaty was signed, and every Empress since has been a descendant of Mora I.
Mora's mother, Yara, was the youngest of three princesses. The oldest, on her ascension to the Annunaki throne, exiled her sisters to live among the Kildaroth - allies of the Annunaki. When Mora was born, Yara was unmarried, and the father was unknown. Years later, both of Yara's older sisters died in battle against the Kraagans, leaving no heirs. Mora, by now an accomplished warrior among the Kildaroth, claimed the Annunaki throne. When her right was challenged, she promoted a story that was already spreading throughout the military: that Yara had been impregnated by none other than Utu, the Annunaki god of justice. Ultimately, Mora defeated all other claimants in single combat, and was crowned Queen of the Annunaki. Already loved by the Kildaroth, she secured their part in her alliance by marrying a Kildaroth archon.
