Itinerant Workers Looking For a Better Future
The Flying Circus crew is a ragtag crew of itinerant workers from several backwater colonies brought together from a galaxy wide immigration lottery by the Colonial Agency, the Consortium's agency tasked with financing, launching and establishing new colonies all throughout the systems of the Third Horizon. The members of the crew were selected by the Colonial Agency and matched with a colonization sponsor (ie. work sponsor).
The Three Wisemen Baklava Baking Company
As luck would have it, each member of the Flying Circus crew were assigned together by the Colonial Agency to work for a reputable baklava baking company, The Three Wisemen, in their shipping and distribution department on Coriolis Station. Unfortunately for the crew, they soon realize that the owner of The Three Wisemen Baklava Baking Company, and their patron sponsor is Wahil Sayyid the III, acting captain of the Deathwish crew, a notorious and much feared mercenary company known throughout the Third Horizon. What was advertised as a chance to crew a shipping vessel for a chance to immigrate to Coriolis Station, turned out to be indentured servitude as smugglers on a blockade runner ship for an extremely dangerous mercenary crew.
Price for Freedom
With nowhere to go, lightyears away from their home planets, no contacts, and no money to buy their way out, they resign themselves to work for Wahil all the while trying to find a way out of this situation, and possibly achieving their personal hopes and dreams as migrants in the Third Horizon.
