In the early days of the Draconic Church there were no saints to lead people, and in order to keep their flock on the straight and narrow, the priests enforced a rigid system of atonement wherein each sin was assigned a price, ranging from a small monetary fee to the death of their firstborn heir.

    Named for the first dynasty to rule the Bay Region, the ancient predecessor to the Akregian Empire emerges near the Northern Bay.

    As part of the treaty signed between the esteemed Ulenor the Sage and High Priest Cassandra in the first half of 1558 A.D., the former was permitted to found a university, the purpose of which was to be the study and development of arcane magic.

    Academics Adopt the Common Language
    Cultural event

    Though Common had already been utilized by merchants and nobles for decades, it was not until the founding of the Academy Arcane that scholars and arcanists began to publish works in the common language, as not all arcanists began their studies being fluent in Draconic.
