Artemisia Mesimeriou

Artemisia Mesimeriou is the daughter of Duke Aniketos III of Enaidia.

Artemisia and her twin, Theophilos, were born on 26 Pars, 1015 SF, during the reign of their grandfather, Duke Aniketos II. Her father, Duke Aniketos III ascended the throne when she was two months old.
Assigned male at birth, Artemisia was originally given the name Aniketos IV, with the expectation that she would inherit the throne of Enaidia. By the age of six, she had declared her gender, and her parents gave her the name of her maternal grandmother.
Of her siblings, Artemisia has remained the most heavily involved in the day-to-day running of the duchy. More often than not, she can be found at her father's side, weighing in on problems and handling minor tasks to ease the Duke's workload. While the Duke has not made any public declarations, it is well known that he favors Artemisia for his heir.
