The Scepter
The largest and most populated of the The Haven Islands. The scepter is long and narrow, expanding to a small pommel on one end, flaring out to a large head at the top. Gravity pulls to towards the balance point of the scepter (or where it would be if it were so small).
Petricalifax lives on the pommel which she naturally considers to be the 'top' of Scepter, along with her gold and jewels which she still values despite their basic worthlessness in the Haven Alliance. On the top of the 'head' of the scepter, live the elite Citizens of Haven Alliance, along with the housing for the major guilds, the Assembly House, and the Guardstower. Inside the head, in a warren of caves and tunnels lives the majority of the population of Haven. It is also where most of the sleepers lay waiting for the Awakening.
Geography
The Scepter is, essentially, a city build in rock. There are materials here, still being tunneled out: useful metals: iron, copper, and nickel; some small precious metals: silver, gold and platinum. Found gemstones are used for arcane purposes, but most go to Petricalifax.
While the Scepter has air, due to the nature of floating islands, it has no water except that which is brought there. It is too small for wind or weather, and the surface is either fully lit by the sun, or completely dark.
Fauna & Flora
Almost no plants grow on The Scepter as there is no naturally occurring water. The animals that are there are those that have accompanied sentient creatures always: cats, dogs, rats and other small creatures that live off the existence of humanity.
Natural Resources
The primary natural resources of the Scepter are stone and metal mined there. Every now and then a block of crystal is found, but that is a rarity. Despite the abundance of crystal, Scepter crystal is often values because it is owned by the Miner and Blacksmith's Guild, not the Crystalareum.
