Ancient Tongue of the Vasarthi

Akheni is the ancient language of the Akhene people, spoken most commonly in the southern isles of Akhenaton, Solkaddi, and the Southern Chain. It has long been considered the mother language of the Vasarthi race and is the official language of the New Kingdom of Akhenaton, just as it was for the Old and Middle Kingdoms before it. Akheni uses a runic alphabet based on the first writings that were supposedly gifted to the Vasarthi by Yulis, the goddess of writing and runes, when she used the Everweaver to imprint words in their written form upon the mortal realm.
