The Children of Egun

The Children of Egun constitute the nations of The Known World - by their own legends they arrived there almost a thousand years ago under the auspices of an entity known as Mane and guarded by the blind, mute Shepherds. In the years following their arrival they would break into many disparate groups, separated often by their cultures but other times more arbitrarily.
The Children arrived with the Codex, a series of Tomes marked with the Seal of Mane that contained a myriad of practical knowledge in agriculture, engineering, and other sciences. Following the construction of the Library, the First Settlers penned their own tomes, some with recollections of a vaguely remembered home world where they were taught by The Fathers. These writings would become the basis for numerous cults throughout the Known Worlds.
