On the Dark Side of the Moon

The Wandering Moon Hecate is a mystery indeed for any outsider, but even more mysterious is the dark side of the moon. Only the priestesses of Baast are allowed to cross the magical border that divides the dark side from the light side - not even the witches of Hecate are allowed to enter this sacred territory.

Blessing of the Black Cats

Not even all Hecatean cats are welcome to the darkest parts of the moon, as it is believed that only those with black fur are truly chosen by the Goddess Baast to carry on her sacred mission. The darker the cats fur, the closer they are believed to be to the Goddess herself.

Sacred Mission

Only the priestesses of Baast know the true secret of the dark side of the moon: a portal, that is believed to lead to the origin world of all the cats and Baast herself. Only the Chosen One can travel through the portal, and they are yet to be arrive.

The Chosen One

The priestesses of Baast are waiting for the chosen one to arrive. It is told that they will be the image of Baast herself, with the fur as dark as night and eyes as bright as the brightest Guardian Flowers, the same color that the flowers growing only around the portal. This is the sacred color of Baast, and it will mark the Chosen One who is to help the cats to return to their true home.
