Zizati's Vigil

Zizati's Vigil (or just The Vigil) is the native solar system of the Human civilization. It is named for the system's parent star which, according to Eclyptic tradition, is an avatar of the God of Life Zizati.

Location

Aethia is a rocky world orbiting very close to Zizati's Eye. In the early days of the colonization of the system several mining outposts were established but with the rise of The Eclyptic the outposts were largely abandoned to redirect personnel to the inner asteroid belt. As of the [most recent] Eclyptic census report the population of Aethia is under ten-thousand, though evidence of a massive pre-Eclyptic settlement in the old mines.
