Bubodan

Bubodan were a sentient species that were a cross between owls and Men. They had soft feathers all over their body, large wings, four arms, and the clawed feet of an owl. Their heads were the head of an owl, and they had owl-tails. They were capable of speech, and were extremely wise and logical. Many enjoyed order, and it was this quality that caused Alovo Cavos of Avosti to employ one as a librarian.   There were many different types of bubodan, and each corresponded with a different species of owl. For example, Sciridius(Avosti's librarian) was a scandiacae, which were the bubodan variant of snowy owls.   Very few bubodan ever became warriors, instead preferring the pursuit of knowledge, but one known bubodan warrior was Karius, a member of the Celestial Rebels during the Eighth Age. His preferred weapons were two halberds. His four arms allowed him to wield both at the same time. However, when in Erunor, he matched the technological capacity of the enormous galaxy, and used two G-66 Shockwave blasters, as well as a V2 Gatling.   Some of the more famous bubodan included Sciridius, Cicerius, and Tyrius.
Sciridius
Sciridius was a scandiacae employed as the librarian for the vast Avosti library. He had made sure that every single book was where it should be, and would patrol the library to make sure that everything was as it should be. It was he who ended up being Rusalye Würani's assistant when the Ranger went undercover to discover a murderer hidden among Alovo Cavos' guests.
Cicerius
Cicerius was a nebulus(bubodan equivalent of a Great Grey Owl) who ended up being a philosopher. He was famed by many sentient species; he even wrote a book full of teachings of wisdom and philosophical thoughts.
Tyrius
Tyrius was an alucor(bubodan equivalent of a Brown Owl) who was a bit of a rebel. He became a bit of a blacksmith-techmaster-inventor combination. One of his main inventions was a headset with many different lenses that allowed him to do many different things: one acted as a magnifying lens, another allowed him to see flaws in ore. He was well acquainted with the Seven, and it was he who forged the war armour of Tywell III.
