Dwrang - God of the Dwarves and Mountains

The Duke of Stone 

Dwrang the Strong is also called the Mountain King, and he is said to dwell deep below the earth. It is his hands that push up the mountains. It is his heart that beats, causing the magma to flow. He created the Dwarves to explore the bounty he has lain before them - and he takes joy and honor in their creative use of what he has given them.
Dwrang is a silent presence in all things the dwarven people do. Instead of communicating directly, he has enshrined many worthy dwarven ancestor spirits as his messengers and agents. These beings occassionaly rise to demigod status, as their families grow more powerful. A few have obtained minor god status, as their families have assumed royal (ducal and above) status.
The Duke of Stone values industry and hard labor. This does not mean the Duke of Stone dislikes innovation or doing things in a better, more efficient way, but that he favors those who put pride into what they do. Dwrang instills in his people a sense of community and service. In myth and legend, he has been linked romantically to Eard The Tall.

Clergy

The Clergy of Drwang are taken from all walks of life - and while he favors dwarves, he only excludes elves from his service.
