Ahur the Adamant – Father of Dragonkind

Before the Creation of the world there was creation of the Dragon Lords to aid and mold the world into what it is today. Ahur the Father of Dragonkind, convinced his brothers and sisters to lend him aid the creation of theses Dragon Lords. Each one bestowing them with a touch of their essence, To help him create something that was truly special, to help him create his magnum opus something that was unlike anything fathomable. It was then Ahur forged them into what they are today, he made sure that each dragon has bit of the personality of the God who gifted their essnce to them.   As the ‘Father of Dragons,’ many humanoids see worship of Ahur as the worship of or collaboration with dragons. Dragons are not very popular in the Greenwold, despite Mouyld's endorsement. Ahur is the only god who, besides Stailan, does not have public humanoid worship in the Greenwold. Ahur is the only god who does not have any known, active temples in the Greenwold. Some small towns may have a shrine to Ahur, and the likely hood increases the closer one gets to the The Tanglebrier Forest or Kraken Bay.   Four thousand years of tyranny brought about by the Great Dragons and the collapse of civilized order in the Greenwold left a long term impression. While his temples that survived the wars were not torn down, they have been abandoned and those who might staff them have been strenuously dissuaded. It should be noted that Ahur still has temples - but they are abandoned and any who would seek to restore one tends to be strongly discouraged. This does not stop adventurers from praying to him, nor from receiving his blessings however.   Due to his lack of organized worship, some think Ahur may be the God most involved and interested in the mortal realm.
