Moonlight

Moonlight   7th-level evocation   Casting Time: 1 action   Range: 120 feet   Components: V, S, M (a piece of moonstone)   Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute   A beam of silvery moonlight descends from the sky and strikes a point within range. The beam has a radius of 5 feet and a height of 40 feet. Until the spell ends, the beam sheds bright light in a 60-foot radius and dim light for an additional 60 feet.   Any creature that enters the beam for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, a creature takes 3d8 radiant damage and is blinded until the end of its next turn. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.   At the end of each of your turns, you can choose to have the moonlight beam move up to 60 feet to a new location within range.   At Higher Levels   When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 7th.   This spell is a more powerful version of the moonbeam spell, and it can be used to great effect in battle. The beam of moonlight can be used to blind enemies, damage them, and even force them to move away from you. The spell is also versatile, as it can be moved around the battlefield as needed.
