The Clergy of Lliira

  Both the specialty priests and clerics of Lliira were known as "Joybringers" until 1365 DR, when members of the clergy became confused by the naming scheme. From that year onward the specialty priests were distinguished by the title of "Joydancer." Her clergy were renowned throughout Faerûn for their easy going and good-hearted nature, making them some of the most popular clerics in the continent.   Orders   Order of the Leaping Stag: This order was dedicated to serving Lliira's animal companions, such as deer, rabbits, and squirrels. They were often found in forests and woodlands, where they tended to the needs of the animals and protected them from harm. Order of the Scarlet Mummers: One of the church's first knightly orders, the Mummers were formed to avenge the murder of Lliira's High Revelmistress in Selgaunt. Their duties included protecting Lliiran temples and battling with Loviatans, the goddess of pain and suffering. Their battle prowess caused their fellows in the church to both fear and respect them. Order of the White Violet: This order was dedicated to the arts and culture. They were often found in cities and towns, where they ran theaters, music halls, and art galleries. They were also known for their skill at diplomacy and negotiation. Temples   House of Happiness in Hillsfar: This temple was one of the largest and most popular temples to Lliira in Faerûn. It was a place where people from all walks of life could come to celebrate life and enjoy each other's company. Palace of Holy Festivals in Selgaunt: This temple was located in the heart of Lliira's largest city. It was a place where the most important festivals and celebrations were held. Theater of Joy in Crimmor: This temple was a popular destination for bards, musicians, and other entertainers. It was a place where people could come to enjoy the arts and be entertained.
