Nenek Lake
The largest lake in the Scepter valley, situated in the flat plains to the north, far from the hot springs, where the valley is most effected by the changing of the seasons.
Geography
In winter, the lake's ice can freeze up to two feet thick, while in the summer, the waters thaw and fill with even more melting runoff from the mountains, swelling the lake by an extra mile along its border. Because of the vast fluctuation in its size, few residents live close to the lake, and those that do live in stilted huts or only dwell seasonally for, as the ice fishers do.
The depth of the lake is anywhere from a meter to a quarter mile.
Natural Resources
Many kinds of fish, often depending on the season, as many of the species emerge or submerge from the deepest parts of the lake depending on the warmth of the waters, or in the summer, on the expanded lake bed and its new vegetation.
