Kevword of Quill

The philosopher-archer of the River Roots. Knightly, though not a knight.
Kevword is the locally famed protector of the pleasure barge that travels up the river the Roots of the Sea from the ocean to lower Gavenlow where the barge lets off a mile before Southbridge Docks so its riders can enter the city through the gardens. On the barge he serves as official protector from bandits and river monsters, though most of his days are spent performing archery stunts and entertaining honored guests with tall tales of his adventures.
Though he is exceptionally young, he has implied publicly to be anywhere from 100 to 400 years old, which ever draws the most genuine gasp of awe from the crowd.
