The language of dragons is debated for many years and no one really knows what it is. It was first found in ruins in the east were the gnomes live. The ruins were inhabited by trolls and giants. A group of adventures went to one of the ruins and destroyed the giants and trolls. When they looked at the ruins it had a strange writing on it. They then went to the other ruins and found the same writing and one ruin showed the picture of a winged beast. The word of this new language was spread all across the land. A man that lived on the selven shard said that before the land was split that there were great winged beasts in the ancient language called dragons. It was then mostly known as the language of dragons. There are many other theories of what this language could be. One thought is that the language is actually a secret giant code instead of a ancient unknown language. This theory only works because it was originally inhabited by giants but it has no other proof. It is still being argued about and this strange language. Some say that there is no such thing as dragons. Others say that there is no new language it is just another variation of some language like the ancient elvish or the ancient language of the dwarves. It is also believed that it was a ancient gnomish or a mixture of gnomish and elf. These theories have many people believe them. And no one knows what it actually is. It is commonly referred to as the language of the dragons because it is the most believed theory. Many people believe that the dragons will one day return to this continent.
