The Finders

While the Cult of Pharasma has many duties, perhaps their most fundamental and universally practiced rites are those of proper burial. Almost every culture, regardless of location has some form of ritual for returning those that have passed to the Boneyard for Pharasma's judgement. However, what about those that fail to die where the trappings of civilization can find them; the hunting party lost in the woods, an adventuring party which doesn't return, a bold explorer failing to return from an expedition to a hostile region? This is where The Finders step in.
The Finders are a holy order of Pharasma, tasked with trying to assure that all souls are properly put to rest, lest they return as loathsome undead. Those who find themselves drawn to this order receive extensive tracking training, no matter what manner of blessing they receive from their goddess, be it a calling as a Champion, Cleric, Ranger, or some other vocation. This training helps them locate bodies, often called Finds by those in the Order, that might otherwise never be found or be defiled by whatever lead to the untimely death of the Find. 
The nature of their work often finds themselves exploring the wilderness beyond the safety of the local towns and villages, as such almost all Finders find themselves working in one manner of adventuring or another. Whether they justify it as making things safer to prevent the future demand for Finders, a counterforce against foul undead that their goddess deems as anathema, or to protect an adventuring party from being yet another Find, the Cult of Pharasma is very understanding about the wanderlust and risk taking of The Finders.
Members of this Holy Order often find themselves welcome at any place of worship where Pharasma is held in reverence, as their service in the field exposes a Finder to far more danger and perceived excitement than many of their religious piers.
