Siromar Kingdom
This efficient and organized kingdom has often been accused of being the source of much of the tension in the Ring (after the Ulathian Kingdom) and with good reason as well. Only recently they initiated a sudden war of conquest against the Lassyrian Kingdom, which ended with the same suddenness that it had begun. Furthermore, contrary to the rest of the Ring they openly use the arts of necromancy and make heavy use of their dead for public service and industrial purposes.
Structure
Despite the title of "kingdom", Siromar only has a king during emergencies or for international relations. In reality the main political power of Siromar is in the hands of the representatives of its main cities, which is a hereditary title held by various noble houses in each city. The responsibility of this representation has been traded between noble houses in the past.
Culture
The most distinct aspect of Siromarian culture compared to the rest of the denizens of the ring is their funeral rites and their extensive use of necromancy and the dead. In Siromar, once an individual has passed away their body would be gathered by the Necromancer's Guild who would then prepare it and raise it as an undead to either work on their previous estate, or should the estate have no use for such labor then they would be used to work on various public services. In Siromarian culture it is seen as insulting to the memory and spirit of the departed to bury or burn the body as the body is seen as a parting gift by the departed.
Demography and Population
The majority of Siromar's population are humans, followed closely by dwarves, and then most other ancestries of the Ring.
