Arcane Elven Homes

The typical home of a Naarian elf is usually fairly spacious for their social class compared to many other cultures, with almost all full-fledged homes having at least a small study in addition to the basic rooms.
While there are always exception in terms of decor, colors tend to me mostly muted and pale, with a few touches of very bright or bold colors. Curtains and other draping cloths are a common theme, as well as cushions and padded chairs. Arcane elves like having comfortable places to sit and study, and often in multiple rooms in case their train of creativity requires a change of location.
One of the most common prevailing themes across their decor and house construction is the prevalent use of skylights. Many of these have curtains that can be draw to avoid excess brightness during the day, while some others prefer to keep them open, but the primary purpose of these lights is the keep a clear view of the moon that earns arcane elves their other names.
As the moon is so important to their culture, identity, and magic, arcane elves typically want to maintain a view of it at all times. Bedrooms and especially studies are typically equipped with this kind of skylighting, though living rooms and other places of meeting and guests and often built with them as well, particularly in larger and more well-to-do homes.

Architecture

Arcane elven homes tent to have few sharp edge than a lot of other cultures, even in the shapes of their rooms and entire houses. Formal room in particular tend to be large and at least somewhat rounded, sometimes even fully circular, while ceilings tend to be at least subtly domed.
More personal rooms like studies and bedrooms range more highly, some of those being highly rounded as well while other have a smaller, sometimes thought cozier squared shape.
