Kosmos: Part III
They find him hiding out in Tripoli
In an abandoned spire none can see,
Shrouded in fog and caliginous smog,
Away from humans, who they call 'ollog.'
Telokh Vovin sends his foes a warning
Through their radios, dwimmer-craft using:
'Zuretsk od adap mal shesh, geno au
Marlan oh mushpa agiod pan ga.'
In English: 'And if heaven I can't shake,
Then rivers of hellfire I shall make.'
He threatens to burn the planet fully
If his enemies have the victory.
Muav Bingebel brings their spaceship swarm,
Alakhah Giburod Ampatraton,
Or 'Squadron of Aetherial Power',
Ready to fight in this final hour.
They board a spaceship Ananael brings,
Five brave commanders waiting in the wings:
Aker, Beburosh, Arpugitonosh,
Gabutelon and young Zebuleon.
The battleship shakes, shudders, shouts and creaks.
Yashgat Binyalpir bows his head and speaks:
'Onsheple ondemats orzan unpat,
Onmah undabra gonshah golsh nakhad.'
Or: 'Even Evil must swiftly be cast
To death's earthen Womb when its time has passed.'
Even if that casting will cost millions,
He will do what he can to save billions.
He remembers Mikaloz, their old world,
Destroyed by a war with Vovin unfurled.
'If we can kill him once and for all, then
That is worth the human lives that must end.'
Atsumen shakes his head, unsure. Aqham
Just wants the deal upheld. 'Whatever comes,
You have promised to take my people home.'
Yashgat son of Yalpir nods, feeling glum.
'Other planets will be put in danger
If we let him escape as in past years.'
He and Muav fought Vovin long ago,
And for that were given army control,
One head of the hosts, the other of ships,
Yashgat radios his fleet with dried lips:
'On my command drop the bombs. Let him try
To scorch the planet. Any way, he'll die.'
Vovin is found, and threatens to destroy Planet Earth should his enemies not back down. Yashgat must make a horrific choice for the greater good.
