Mages are the majority species on the Plateau. They are physically identical to Mortals with the addition of four extra genes that allow the Aura to be converted into Magick through the Circle. A Mages ability to generate and control a form of energy known as Magick is what sets them apart from Mortals. The use of Magick to manipulate reality around them.
