Lucanthrope

Lucanthrope is a condition caused by severe epilepsy during the Change which can alter and transform the Mage's DNA activating the Magick genes incorrectly. This causes the Mage to transform into a wolf-like hybrid animal. Failure to control their new beastly nature can result in madness and even death. They are also closly related to the phases of the moon, with the fuller the moon the less control they hold over their powers. Alpha Lucans can pass on the disease to other humans, Beta Lucans can be cured using a combination of hemlock and wolfs-bane. They also develop an allergy to silver, being unable to heal wounds caused by silver weapon.
