Kingdom of Sunland

The Kingdom of Sunland was a state that ruled the whole of the Sunland following the Consolidation in 895 KA which unified all the nations of Sunland under one crown, while at the same granting certain protections to their old systems of government. The Kingdom attempted during its long history to foster a sense of multiculturalism among its member nations, encouraging travel for work and social reasons. To this end the government built large roads to link the great cities and make them safe for all travellers.
For thousands of years the court of Sunland was dominated by Rivush and Dragun culture. Following the Democratic Revolution and the death of the GreenBlood dynasty, other cultures (especially Píngshuǐ) began to dominate the culture at court. To create a sense of multiculturalism and connection, the Sunland monarchs fostered a Sunland identity surrounding veneration of the sun, harkening back to the ancient Sunland culture of solar worship which is were the Land got the name. The Consolidation was led by Dragun Imperator (later Sunland King) Carmon V GreenBlood, Rivush King Astor Adler, and Píngshuǐ Marshal Soo-Jin Yamamoto, these three are considered the Founders of Sunland.
