History
After the first collapse of Etheria Gepiv was formed by the Etherian soldiers that remained in that area, they longed for a more calmer life after such a devastating collapse so they laid down their arms and turned to farming. yet just a couple of generations later they where forced to pick up arms once again as Seceria invaded their lands in hope to become the next continental superpower. Their lands where greatly diminished and on the brink of collapse, yet they held out with the help of other anti Seceria goverments like As gallia and Etyl.
eventually Esceria collapsed under it's own inefficient politcal system and the world was once again up for grabs.
Chaos ensued and Gepiv together with many other states was gobbled up by Hulgaris, a military junta.
and it seemed they would be under Hulgaris control for the rest of time, to their dismay. even with the great tulvian conquest the militaristic Hulgaris stood strong.
but then the alien creatures called the Stahlists invaded the world and rapidly destroyed empire after empire, finally Hulgaris met a foe they could not defeat and was forced to render under the emperor's might.
after their sudden disapearance from the world, the Gepiv people took their chance to once again proclaim independance from to still surviving empires around them.
Hulgaris was no more.
today the day the Gepiv seem to be in danger once again, the dust of the sunder has settled and the world dominating empires like Tulvia, Xavaria and Etheria want to expand once again.
Territories
They only got their homeland, the Gepiv fields, the temperature in the north is a bit on the cold side, while that bordering the ocean is pleasant and great for farming fields.
rivers on the eastern side and Halcyon on the western side makes it a greatly fortified place to be.
Military
almost non existent, most proper soldiers have died in the sunder and those that remain are spread across the cities and villages to keep dangerous animals out of the centers.
the goverment relies mostly on adventurers and merc's to solve these problems so the army can focus once again on training and perparing for the inevitable war with Etheria and Xavaria.
Foreign Relations
The relation between Xavaria and Etheria is tense, they both want the land because it gives another optional front against each other, pluse the great bridge city of Halcyo makes it a great fortified place to get.
Frankelius leaves them alone, they rather stay alone.
Agriculture & Industry
It's greatly agricultural, even the capital is more fields than buildings.
the people around here love farming and it's a treasured tradition from the days of the first collapse
Education
very basic, a guild system and big libraries in the major cities give the ability to learn more but the people often just want to farm.
Infrastructure
stone roads connect the major cities, farming villages and hamlets are connected with muddy roads, just good enough for horse drawn carriages.
