The Underdark

The world under the world, The Underdark is a series of tunnels and caves about a mile below the entire surface of the world. It is home to many different peoples, who were previously called the dark versions of the surface races. Now, almost every people group that resides below the surface has become friendly towards the surface, as long as they do not try to infringe on their rights to their lands. Notable peoples that do not subscribe to this philosophy are the Dueregar (deep dwarves), the mind-flayers, and the alghollthu.
