Thezouth

I have only been here one time. The dwarves hold long grudges and have not forgotten how elves treated them. I am never allowed to see the full glory of the city because I am elven.

Thezouth is built into a mountain. The city is embedded in the cave systems that the dwarves carved out. The ceiling of the caves are high. The air is musky and tastes like a blacksmith's forge. The air is denis and a bet moist, because of the cave air. There are vents that are letting out steam from the master forges that flood the city in smoke.     The city is built around crafting and making weapons for other dwarven states and countries they trade with. They also make finery and enchant the things that they make. Thezouth is famous for its craftsmanship and the items that they can make.

Defences

The mountain makes a natural defense for the city. With anyone is able to get to the gate most of the guards for the city will be waiting at the gate. Since they would have a little bit of time to get there, because of their foes having to hike. If the enemy was able to get up the mountainside quickly archers are stationed above the gate to slow them down and kill them.

Industry & Trade

Although not everyone works at the mighty forges smithing is the main trade of the dwarves here. They mine the ore themselves and craft weapons and finery from them. The things they craft are traded to other dwarf states and neighboring kingdoms. The city imports most of its food.

Architecture

The building are carved out of stone. The roofs are made out of copper and bronze.

Natural Resources

The city is rich with stone, ore, metal, and water. They then craft the metal into finery or weapons to sell to other dwarf states or ship them out to neighboring kingdoms. The imports most of its food, so it can focus on mining and crafting.
