Basic Information
Biological Traits
Humans are extremely diverse. They come in array of colors, sizes and shapes. There are two sexes, male and female.
Genetics and Reproduction
Humans reproduce via sexual intercourse. They reach sexual maturity in their adolescent years, and females are fertile for a five days a month. Females bear live young after a gestational period of ~10 months.
Growth Rate & Stages
Human life-cycles are broken into six stages: infant, toddler, child, adolescent, adult, and elder. Certain life-stages bring with them physical, hormonal, and mental changes. With the correct nutrition, care and equipment, some humans can live well past 100.
Ecology and Habitats
Because of their former status as the dominant species on this planet, humans are able to survive in nearly any environment, provided that they have the proper equipment.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Humans are omnivorous. They require fresh water and diverse foodstuffs.
Biological Cycle
The older a human grows, the more likely it is to become physically and mentally fragile. Adolescents experience an increase of hair growth, hormonal changes, etc.
Additional Information
Uses, Products & Exploitation
Currently, humans have been reduced to property, or a status symbol. As they are quite hardy by most standards, they’ve been forcibly employed as servants, or slaves to the Underrealmers.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Previously - global. Humans saturated the globe, covering each continent completely. However, with the return of the Underrealmers and the virus, their numbers have been reduced dramatically. Current populations are restricted to small, well-hidden encampments deep within the Wilds, or in wealthy noble households as slaves.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
By Underrealm standards, humans are unexceptional and untalented, particularly in magickal arts. However, humans are known to be resilient and rather intelligent, utilizing their considerable brainpower to adapt to their surroundings with ease.
