The Discovery of Procreative Possibility

Following the Darkness leaving, Dweomer returned to its previous state.     Turnal turned to the Factors for a new compulsion had come on to them. The need to multiply. The Factors had felt this most basic of Racial needs as well. There was no safety in doing so as to breed would mean exposing themselves to the harsh environment of Dweomer and the pulsating force of its sun, Vela.     The Factors and their most trusted followers looked for an answer among the other entities of the world. Some had used their ephemeral nature to avoid the greater issues associated with life on the world. Others had built massive constructs to defend themselves from the worst that Dweomer had to offer. Some had taken ‘blessings', either from Darkness before it had left or more secretively from Light which had made more selective trips to Dweomer in the form of one God or another... None of these means were of use to the Turnal.     They searched the world for a cultural solution. In the end it was a physical solution that was found quite by accident. On their trek across the world looking for an example the Factors discovered, the Proof Vent. This place seemed removed from the awesome effects of Vela. It was Factor Sphalt that first risked their existence by shedding its armours. Sphalt stood much changed in form; softer, pliable and vulnerable. New senses felt new sensations. Sphalt felt compelled to take a new name for its newfound senses and self. She called herself, Singe.     The other three Factors followed Singe in taking an appearance more vulnerable -- more like Races, though the Turnal could not know that that was the case as they had yet to see other Races' forms. Nexeze took on the name, Soa. and was male. Reish took the name, Minca and was female. Tar took the name, Vyke and was male. Two pairings were formed and the first of the Factorings were born from these couplings. The Factors went from a count of four beings, to four family groups. As Dweomer was no place for homes or entertainments or indeed, much that family groups would normally stay together for, the Factors were groups in relation only and still solitary for most of their experiences.
