Professions

These professions, or classes, are available in the world. Since most races would have their origin in Faerún, most subclasses have no immediate changes to their abilities. Healing professions, however, have some limitations to healing by magic.

For each of these professions the following rule applies:

If you can make a good case to your local DM as to why you would need a subclass not available here, the DM can allow you to play said subclass.

Here follows a list of available professions: [section:Artificer]

Artificer

available subclasses:
Due to the various metals in the world, there are so many varieties to tinker with.
  • All subclasses available

Barbarian

available subclasses:
Due to the gods having trouble conneting into the Netherscape, zealots are highly unlikely.
  • All subclasses are available, except for Zealots.

Bard

available subclasses:
If the race you picked is sidhe, you can only play the subclass glamour here.
  • All subclasses are available

Cleric

available subclasses:
Due to the difficulty for Deities to reach out into the world, deities cannot give you the powers required to be a cleric.
If you wish to be a cleric, you'll have to be a Knight of Winter or a Knight of Summer. Which can severely limit the playability of the character.
The advice for DM's is to not allow these two titles to be played by players unless they are experienced veterans that can handle limitations to their actions.

  • Death (Winter)
  • War (Winter}
  • Life (Summer)
  • Nature (Summer)

Druid

available subclasses:
The nature of the Netherscape needs constant tending to. Every subclass remains available, as druid will draw their power from the Netherscape itself, rather than a deity they would follow.
  • All subclasses are available

Fighter

available subclasses:
A fighter is always required in the netherscape, balance is everything.
  • All subclasses are available.

Monk

available subclasses:
Monks are rarely seen in the Netherscape, those from Faerún have passes every now and then.
  • Discuss with your DM which subclass is fitting to the story

Paladin

available subclasses:
Just as with clerics, the deities that suffuse you with strength and power have too much difficulty reaching you in here. Should you wish to be a Knight but as a Paladin instead, the following subclasses are available for their respective courts
  • Watchers (Winter)
  • Devotion (Summer)

Ranger

available subclasses:
Masters of the Wyld, these professions fight the constant battle for survival. Vicious and primal they might seem, but not to be underestimated.
  • All subclasses available

Rogue

available subclasses:
Masters of deceit, if not a noble in the courts, it is highly likely you belong to these deceitful masters. Thievery is never in the nature of a Rogue in the Netherscape, as the Sidhe cannot by nature gain something without returning something of equal value
  • All subclasses are available except for thief.

Sorcerer

available subclasses:
Fey breathe magic as you breathe oxygen.
  • All subclasses are available, except for Divine Soul

Warlock

available subclasses:
Given the need for a patron, a warlock can only exist so long as the patron is from the netherscape. Discuss with your GM which benefactors you can choose from.
  • Archfey
  • Fathomless
  • Hexblade
  • Undead
  • Undying

Wizard

available subclasses:
The study of magic in the Netherscape left most minds broken or mad, are you sure you wish to persue this knowledge?
  • All subclasses are available
