When I was near dead years ago, the Chrome guided me to The Oasis, allowing me to survive; by revealing the largest source of Guzzoline I've ever seen. The Chrome told me to drink from it and after I did, I saw the truth; Doomsday was an act of the Chrome to give the Wastelands to the Idols! Now, I act as the Bishop of the Chrome, working to bring it's plans to life! If you want to get far you gotta know two things; don't wreck your idol unless the Chrome, or me, commands it and do anything I tell you. If you do everything I say and perform great War, you'll reach the Chromatic City, and become immortal through your War! History

Brother Grunge founded the Church when he found the Oasis, which saved his life. After Grunge took control of the Warband, he converted everyone in it and forced all new recruits to join as well. He's since tried some less violent methods to convert people to the Church, meeting with limited success.
