Bei'el (a.k.a. The Devil of Death)

Bei'elNecrum is the Devil of Death and firstborn child of Ba'alNecro. Before she was exiled by the Alchemicals with her brethren, Bei'elNecrum was charged with the actual process of Death itself, the one thing all mortals look forward to, the transition between the realm of the living and that of the dead. For a long time she was content with this occupation, serving as a ferryman and a welcoming face for fearful mortals. In that time it was her who brought the Lost Souls of the recently deceased to the BloodStream, where she would carry them to the land of the dead on her ebony boat. That was, until she was corrupted. Nobody knows how, not even the Alchemicals, but one day, along with the rest of the devils, Bei'elNecrum snapped. She stopped collecting Lost Souls, allowing them to wreak havoc on the Verse with no known way of destroying them, and started tearing up the land of the dead along with the land of the living. In her short reign of terror, Bei'elNecrum destroyed hundreds of souls and almost entirely sundered her father's realm before being sealed away into the realm between Verses by the combined efforts of the Alchemicals. Left without anybody ridding the Verse of the Lost Souls roaming it, the people of the Verse suffered great dread and suffering for an age after the devils' exile. Because of this, Ba'alNecro intervened, creating the Wastes of the condemned, a completely empty wasteland fit for each of the Lost Souls who linger too long in the land of the living, a place for them to wander endlessly and without exhaustion. He also appeared before one particular NecroMajus, who learned from him how to bring Lost Souls to the land of the dead through the BloodStream. That NecroMajus was the first Reaper, who then founded the order of Reapers not long after they began their work. After she gained her new title as a devil, Bei'elNecrum started sowing the seeds of her corruption in the minds of those who feared Death and those who were unwilling to part with their corporeal form. These people became the first undead, which slowly became more and more common until new undead abominations popped up almost each day. This became such a problem that the Order of Reapers, now considered a holy covenant, got even more involved than previously and actively sought out and destroyed undead along with their previous duties for a time. Slowly, ever so slowly, the number of undead occurrences decreased until it was almost negligent, but the Order of Reapers remained vigilant. Now, undead seemingly only come into being from cultists who worship Bei'elNecrum and the remainder of her corruption materializing in that form in the NecroVerse. In the current age, Bei'elNecrum is still unable to reach the Multiverse physically, but her influence has grown, as have her followers. Not only that, but her army of demons continue to sow corruption within the NecroVerse and create new fiendish monstrosities to kill, consume, and destroy everything in their paths.
