Arvane is a lean, hard man, and it shows. While not particularly muscular, it shows easily against his lack of fat.

Personal history
Formerly one of the most promising Ranger's Guild initiates, Arvane would be the unfortunate victim of incompetence. Hired to guide a group of adventurers through some of Frostmore's more inhospitable regions, they insisted on raiding an old ruin that ended up being guarded by something far too strong for them to defeat. Arvane was the only survivor. When he returned to civilization, charges were brought up, and while they were officially dropped, Arvane never escaped the stigma of having lead the adventurers to their deaths on purpose. Very few in the Guilds have forgiven him for this, and the work has been scarce, leading him to become desperate.

The aforementioned incident where his entire party was wiped out, which he has yet to recover from.
