Styg

The styg are a species of demi-fiends that dwell in the karstic sub-plane.
It is believed that a species of mildly intelligent creatures inhabited the karst before the first appearance of demons, but at some point during or after the Unholy Crusades, these creatures either made a pact with, or were corrupted by demonic forces, becoming what are now known as the styg, horrific, detestable creatures with wicked intelligence and magical capabilities.
Appearing as pale, pigmentless insectoids with rows and rows of short, vestigial limbs lining their almost centipede-like bodies; the bipedal styg are capable of wielding weapons and performing magic of their own insidious design.
