Farron Imperium
The Farron Imperium is a fairly recently formed nation, but their tenets and their armies are some of the strongest in the world. They are derived from a split-off part of the Archiat Confederacy, and remain allies to this day, sharing many beliefs, and a strong devotion to the Cult Mechanicus, if only slightly less zealous about it's enforcement.
Leader: The Imperium is led by Supreme General Tyranus, who was once an urkali warrior, since augmented by the most skilled Cosmo-smiths in the Archiat Confederacy to become a living weapon who was rarely matched on the battlefield.
Formation: Tyranus' skill and power alone caused people to rally to him as their leader, and he led a great crusade against the enemies of the Confederacy. He was so influential that he diverted a large force from the command of the Confederacy, and formed his own Empire, which Archmagos Dominus Faustinius was highly unpleased about.
Tensions between them grew to the point that they almost declared war, and the Farron Imperium began preparing forces for a full scale attack on the Archiat Confederacy; however, they lacked the population to build an army that could rival the well-established forces of the Confederacy, so they set upon performing deep research into necromantic magic, to try and give life to that which didn't. With the full research team of old Archiat scientists pouring over their cosmic knowledge, they discovered how to create a Cosmic alternative to the driving soul-force that gave life to creatures, and while it lacked many of the aspects that a soul had, it allowed for the animation and controlling of otherwise inanimate vessels, which was all they needed.
Using the Cosmic Soul technology, Tyranus begun manufacturing thousands of entirely mechanical units made for war on a grand scale, which proved themselves to be just as effective as a well-trained soldier. Tyranus held a 10 thousand-strong military parade in the presence of Faustinius, which he found to be both intimidating and remarkable, and so called off all plans of attack; they proposed that a joint alliance would be better for both of their nations, which Tyranus graciously accepted. Culture: Although the Farron Imperium is world renowned for their colossal armies of necromantic machines, it is also respected as a charming, generous nation that respects those of good will, born from Tyranus' urkali folk roots. The despisal of the Abyss is far less prevalent than in the Archiat Confederacy, and while they do worship and aspire to both the Cosmos and the teachings of the Omniseer, a good heart and a fine warrior are far more respected than anything else. That was, at least, before the deity Panoption Prime joined in leadership with Tyranus. Ever since this alliance was formed, the Farron Imperium has become more and more oppressive to its inhabitants, seemingly seeking to replace all organic life within the nation with the necro-mechs that Panoption Prime controls.
