Orruskan Raider

The Northernmost state of the Manylands, Orruskan is unforgiving in both nature and outlook. It has been defined by war, as the various Orcish tribes battle neighbouring Provincia for dominance over the land, hence why the mountain range that separates the two is known as The Divide. Though Orruskan itself is divided: the Orc tribes fight amongst themselves, and guerrilla skirmishers known as the Sabraki also attack along the mountain passes. You are part of this world of war, knowing no different than the cold of winter, and the cold of steel. Do you yearn to see more of the world? Do you wish only for peace? Or are addicted to the rush of the raid? Were you a notable fighter in your tribe? Or an exile, forbidden to return?   Skill Proficiencies: Stealth, Survival   Tool Proficiencies: one type of Artisan’s tools (up to the value of 20gp)   Languages: Orcish (or one other if known)   Equipment: a hunting trap, a portable ram, one set of Artisan’s tools (up to the value of 20gp), a trophy from a raid, a set of winter furs, and a belt pouch containing 5gp.   Feature: Brave the Elements – you have become accustomed to the brutality of winter, knowing how to keep yourself warm, but also how to move through such conditions. You are resistant to cold damage, and can move through difficult terrain caused by snow or ice as if it were normal terrain.   Variant: Orruskan Sabraki – the Sabraki were once part of the Provincian Clans, but left it forever in order to take the fight to the Orcs of Orruskan. Some Clans saw this an honour, others as punishment. "Sabraki" is a Dwarven term literally meaning broken, cracked or flawed – this is what the Clanless are referred to as.   NOTE: as a Sabraki, you carry the tribal tattoos of your Provincian Clan, unless you were born in Orruskan – and swap the portable ram for a Wilderness Disguise kit that allows you to disguise yourself to blend in with your surroundings. The kit takes a minute to apply and gives you advantage to Stealth checks to Hide in the wilderness. You lose this benefit on a turn when you move. You are also proficient with Disguise kits instead of the set of Artisan’s tools.
