Ominack

God of Truth

Knowledge Domain

“With Ominack on our side, we cannot falter. For he is truth, and all else is false!” – an Imperial Commander leads her troops.   Despite being the symbol of the undeniable truth, Ominack was believed to never take sides. In conflict, Ominack occupies the middle ground, only offering what is true, and what is not. Truth doesn’t take sides, nor does it differentiate right from wrong. Historians and librarians often seek blessings of Ominack, to aid their quest for knowledge, as do leaders, both spiritual and military, to assure them that their cause is just. In life, Ominack was a solitary figure, usually a human or half elf, believed to spend most of his time at the top of a tower lined with wall to wall books. On the rare occasions outside, it is believed Ominack carried a wand, which was believed to be able to separate the clouds, powered by the elements themselves.   Ominack’s symbol depicts a hand pointing a wand skyward, in reference to the legendary item. It is also argued that the wand symbolises the irrefutable truth, piercing the sky in the same fashion that truth will ultimately pierce through the lies. The hand is sometimes believed to represent people, since some believe that when you wield the truth, you can challenge the gods themselves. Followers of Ominack may follow the laws of the land, but often they deal with a higher truth, making nation’s laws petty by comparison.
