Overview
Without knowing what you're looking for, which most people don't, Genasi are nearly unrecognizable from other mortals if they choose to be. Most differences about them are in the color of their hair and eyes. Genasi are rare special cases that don’t gather in communities; they are born to normal parents who have had some interaction with the elemental planes.
From childhood, Genasi notice that things are different within them and test their limits giving them different personalities from others. These differences often cause a Genasi to leave their home to find a way to give their powers a purpose.

Subraces
Sometimes mistaken for albinos because of their pale skin coloration. Air Genasi hair is very light and thin and ranges from stark white to light blue; it can sometimes be seen flowing even when there is no wind. Their eyes can seem cloudy when they are calm but spark and flash when they get angry. Air Genasi are naturally light and lithe with little to no fear of gravity, they are often seen as reckless and adrenaline seekers.
Earth Genasi skin is very similar to certain darker brown and tan skins of
Humans. and their hair isn’t much different, sometimes sandy blonde sometimes deep brown. Touching their skin though would reveal a tough almost stonelike texture. Their real visual differences are in their eyes which shine and sparkle like cut gems when the sunlight hits them, and range across all colors. Naturally built heavier and broader than an average person, Earth Genasi are generally grounded and soft spoken people who enjoy their time alone; their natural toughness makes it easy for them to stand up for others and to fight back if need be.
Fire Genasi have hair that strongly resembles fire with red and orange and white coloration that can look like it is alight with flame under the right lighting. They have found it's usually best to cover their hair while in public, unless they want to get beat across the head by someone attempting to put the “fire” out. Their skin is very red and they look like they are constantly sunburnt. Their eyes are made up of a mixture of colors such as yellow, orange, red, white and blue and can be very captivating, like getting lost in the flames of a campfire at night, they flicker and seem to have a warmth to them.
Fire Genasi grow up creating and playing with fire, this normally does not end well as burning other children or catching things on fire is looked down upon. They can easily feel like outcasts if not raised properly and taught to control it. When this is the case outcasts can sometimes turn to crime, and arson is very easy for a Fire Genasi. Outcasts can also be empathetic to others who share the same fate and outcasts with power can make a difference in people's lives.
Water Genasi have thick flowing hair of blues and greens, It's often wavy and constantly appears damp. Their skin has pale blue or purple tones that only stands out under certain lighting, it's also very smooth and moisturized. Their eyes are larger than normal and are deep colors of blue, green, and black and always seem to have a layer of water on them giving the impression of tears. Water Genasi are natural swimmers and practically live in the water growing up. Their skills at swimming and their ability to breathe underwater grants them the opportunity to help many people, as few other people can survive under the water.

Genasi worship whatever religion appeals to them.
