Master Builder

A "Master Builder" was any minifigure who was incredibly adept at building LEGO objects, at any size and complexity. The title was usually bestowed upon someone when a community admired the person's work. Typically a minifigure's inherent skills would determine whether they are, or could become, a Master Builder. There was no formal training or school for one to learn to become a Master Builder.

Requirements

Any minifigure who possessed incredible skills at using LEGO bricks to build any creation could receive the title of Master Builder. As an informal but respected title, it was usually a decision by popular vote to identify someone as a Master Builder, though existing Master Builders would often have the deciding vote.

Appointment

As an informal title, it was usually bestowed upon someone by a committee or a leader of a community. In a more official setting, Master Builders would convene and hold a ceremony to honor the new member and celebrate their success.

Duties

There were no official duties for a Master Builder, but they were expected to use their skills to help the community and defend against disaster. Master Builders would become engineers, artists, builders, or all of the above. It was arguable that much of the known civilization came about thanks to the Master Builders of the past and that without them it wouldn't have gotten where it was.
