LEGO brick

LEGO bricks were the fundamental building blocks (pun intended) of the universe. They came in many different shapes, sizes, and colors, and could be assembled in many different ways. Bricks were usually imbued with Imagination, giving them their unique properties and the ability to be assembled.

Properties

Material Characteristics

A LEGO brick most commonly had a smooth, shiny, and plastic-y surface, with varying degrees of dirt, scratches, and smudges. But they also came in other varieties, such as transparent, metallic, and glow-in-the-dark, each with different properties.

Geology & Geography

The first bricks were, most likely as theorized by scientists, formed naturally through unknown chemical reactions in combination with Imagination. The First Builders were able to create a process to refine ore into LEGO bricks, using their ability to use Imagination. The modern civilizations had adapted that process albeit in a more primitive form.

Origin & Source

LEGO bricks could be manufactured from regular ore, but the refining process required either a decent amount of Imagination or tremendous amounts of energy.

History & Usage

Everyday use

LEGO bricks were used practically everywhere and played an important role in every civilization. In their most basic form they were used as a building material, with more advanced uses for vehicles and devices.

Reusability & Recycling

Smashed structures could be rebuilt quite easily. Bricks could also easily be reused for other purposes. However, deconstructed bricks were drained of their Imagination and became inert, preventing them from ever being reassembled. Such bricks could be recycled and refined into new bricks, but the old material would not produce an equal amount of new bricks.
