Gruff, hardened bounty hunter. He doesn’t have much in the way of book smarts but is still surprisingly gifted. Silas is the only member of the Extraordinaries with no powers aside from counting slowed aging, instead relying on his skills with guns, indestructible knives, driving and piloting skills, and all-around toughness.

Expert Driver: Silas can drive any vehicle, whether by land, sea, air or space.

Indestructible Knives: Silas carries a pair of knives made of a special alien metal, that are nigh indestructible.
Revolver: Silas favors his trusty revolver, but by no means is he limited to just that.

Personal history

Silas is the elder of child of the Shepard family, and growing up on a farm, he was the one who held the most responsibility. As a tough one, he knew of many talents, but general smarts wasn't one of them. Still, he always did pull through when needed. Silas protected his younger brother Patrick from bullies, and would join him on his adventures across the world when he wanted to improve communities.
This led to them founding the Extraordinaries, where he, along with the growing membership of the family, fought evildoers while adventuring into the unknown. Throughout their history, Silas remained as the one who had no actual powers, instead relying on his skills. The only thing really unusual about him is his slowed aging, when hit by a chronal wave during an accident on one of their adventures.
This had the pleasent effect of seeing the world around him change, but he's still starting to feel his age now.
