The Seven Senses

We all know the five senses, from the youngest Orkäen tuskling to the eldest of Jekovaans, everyone knows of touch, taste, sight, smell and hearing. While the other two senses are technically available to all, like magick, there are very few who can achieve the sixth sense, and it's practically unheard of that someone acquires a seventh sense. Still, it is possible to those few who are either gifted or lucky enough.     To paraphrase, the sixth sense is magick itself. While having the ability to see the future of someone may seem like magick itself, it has been commonly viewed as it's own distinct form of ethereal magick, thus receiving it's own categorization, separate from the two more common forms of magick; Roar and Whisper.     The final, and rarest of the Seven Senses, is essentially a form of soothsaying. A fortuneteller if you will. The seldom few who are born with this ability, or are able to learn it through many strenuous years of practice and sheer willpower. They random few are able to see potential futures in their dreams. There is some debate as to how many people are truly capable of the 'Second Sight' as some experts believe there are many more out there who have this ability but are simply unaware and simply brush off these visions the following morning as nothing more than fanciful dreams. Quite often it's been said that many of these undocumented soothsayers don't realize they've seen the future until it's too late. However, the few who are registered with the Sortilege Registry are powerful Augurs, able to clearly remember every detail from their dreams and are more often than not, hired or conscripted to save a life or even a kingdom.
